RIGGERS HOCKEY ACADEMY WINTER PROGRAM
2023/2024 SEASON

The winter program is based out of Leduc, Alberta and surrounding areas.

  • Program runs August 2023 to March 2024

  • ​Focus on high-end development  

  • 80+ (2012-2016) 90+ (2011) hours of on-ice practice time including:

    • Up to 30 hours of specific power skating and hockey training with outside paid professionals

    • Goalie development coaches

  • 35 games inside of 9 showcase weekends 

  • Certified and experienced coaching staff

  • Practice schedule given at beginning of the season ​(subject to change)

  • HSL registration is required and fees must be paid separately (player insurance included in HSL registration)

  • HSL apparel includes: jerseys, socks, helmet, gloves, shorts, t-shirt, hockey bag and pant shell

  • Based on 17 skaters per team

  • Program runs August 2023 to March 2024

  • ​Focus on high-end development  

  • 90+ hours of on-ice practice time including:

  • Up to 30 hours of specific power skating and hockey training with outside paid professionals

  • Goalie development coaches

  • All league games will take place on Showcase weekends. Each team will play 4 games over a 2-3 day weekend once per month culminating in a championship showcase weekend in March 

  • Certified and experienced paid head coach

  • Practice schedule given at beginning of the season ​(subject to change)

  • PHL apparel includes: game jerseys (home & away), practice jersey, socks and pant shell

  • PHL registration is required and fees must be paid separately (player insurance included in PHL registration)

  • Based on 20 players per team

TRYOUT INFORMATION
